You'll find that infant toys have gone through a huge transformation over the years, and most companies produce very good quality, very "cool" toys. However, there are a few main things to keep in mind from a safety perspective when you purchase infant toys. Size of the toy and any parts that can come off is a big thing to watch for, as we all know any baby toys will get tasted at some point. Watch out also for long pull cords that could get wrapped around the baby's neck, any sharp edges, and any excessively loud noises. Pay attention to labels that state recommended ages for a toy. Some of the things to look FOR include qualities that will stimulate the infant's senses, including bright/contrasting colours, different textures to feel, and a variety of sounds.
